Gluo joins Orium to boost its expansion in Latin America

    On June 17, 2024, Gluo was officially acquired by Orium, a leading company in Composable Commerce in North America. This acquisition, resulting from two years of successful collaboration, will allow Gluo to strengthen its presence in the US market and open new opportunities in Latin America. Known for its work with providers like BigCommerce, commercetools, Contentful, Contentstack, and Fluent Commerce, Gluo brings a talented and specialized team that will complement Orium's capabilities.

    Jaime De la Fuente Valles, CEO of Gluo, expressed his enthusiasm for this new phase. “We are incredibly excited about the opportunities this acquisition brings us. The shared vision between Gluo and Orium on the efficiency and scalability of Composable technologies will allow us to offer unprecedented value to our clients,” said De la Fuente Valles.

    Jason Cottrell, CEO of Orium, highlighted the importance of this acquisition. “By incorporating Gluo’s e-commerce experts into our team, we expand our services and strengthen our ability to help clients seize new opportunities. Previous collaboration with Gluo has shown that together we can achieve extraordinary results,” said Cottrell.

    With this acquisition, Gluo will operate under the name "Gluo, an Orium company," and will continue its work in developing e-commerce applications. Both companies will continue collaborating with technological leaders to create advanced and adaptable shopping experiences, helping retailers provide seamless sales experiences at any customer interaction point.
